Jennifer Kay is a KidLit Author and a Licensed Structural Engineer in Illinois. Her first short story was published in Scholastic Storyworks, Jr. Jennifer holds an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts. 

In her free time Jennifer enjoys traveling with her husband and teenager, creating art, solving puzzles, and devouring stories of all kinds. Her favorite stories explore STEM, Structures, and Sisterhood.
